The regions of the horse depicted in the images correspond to the similarly shaded regions on the skeleton diagram. The images displayed below are not necessarily normal and may have lesions present.

Femur – the long bone above the stifle joint
Metatarsus – the hind cannon bone or shin
Tibia – the long bone above the hock
